What happens after I sponsor an auction item for an upcoming event?
Upon checkout, the event planner will receive a notification that you've sponsored the item and your name will appear as "sponsored by" if you've indicated that you want to show your support on promotional materials.
If I sponsor an item, is it tax deductible?
Check with your tax advisor. Since you will be not be receiving anything of material value for your sponsorship, the amount shown on the purchase receipt you receive by email should be tax deductable. You may want to ask the event organizer for an official receipt on nonprofit letterhead.
What is "TravelPledge"?
TravelPledge is an efficient way for our organization to secure fun experiences from generous businesses, vacation providers, golf courses and much more.
Our organization has partnered with TravelPledge to ensure that we mazimize our donations at our upcoming event. This makes it easy for us to get promotional flyers and bid sheets and gives our winning bidders a DIRECT way to redeem the experiences that they win at our auction or raffle.
TravelPledge even provides free online auction software for charitable organizations that is being used by many top nonprofits for year-round fundraising and for benefit golf tournaments. If you support other charitable organizations, we encourage you to tell them about TravelPledge.
I have more questions. How can I receive additional support?
